Acquiesce 2013 Belle Blanc
The pear and honeysuckle are genuine. So delightful. As soon as I dug in, I thought of Christmas. It took me a while to figure that connection out. The human sense of smell is so poorly developed, comparatively speaking, yet it is so in tune with our emotions and memories. When I was young, I used to visit my grandparents for Christmas. They would always have a bowl of walnuts on their living room table. The smell of those dry walnut shells is a beautiful base for the sweet fruit notes.
Soft acids tingle and entertain. Delicate goodness. A wine to sip and chat for hours. Don’t serve it too cold, you will lose some of the nuances in the structure. Good Stuff. Oh yeah, I took one of these home.

Winemaker Notes: “My “beautiful white” is an homage to a delicate Chateauneuf du Pape white wine blend. This wine has wonderful mouth feel and tropical flavors; the lovely aroma of pear, honeysuckle and gardenia give way to a long, dry finish. A balanced blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne & Viognier.”
